Booking, Payment, Cancellations & Policies

  • You may book up to 24 hours in advance. If you need to book less than 24 hours out, please email us at TheBokehBodega@gmail.com to check availability. We will try to get back to you as soon as possible!

  • Booking: To secure your booking/session, we require full payment at time of booking. 

  • Cancellations: Email us at TheBokehBodega@gmail.com if you need to cancel your rental. Any cancellation notices received 24 hours or more before your reserved rental time will receive an 80% refund. Any cancellation notices received less than 24 hours before your reserved rental time will be charged in full, no exceptions.

  • Rentals cannot be rescheduled. If you need to change the date of your rental, you must cancel that rental and create a new booking. Payments are not transferable.

  • Rentals are often booked back to back,because of this, setup AND cleanup must be included in the rental time you reserve.

  • Due to Covid-19 restrictions you are allowed up to 6 people during your session. This includes the renter. If the rental exceeds the number of people allowed people may be asked to leave no matter how much time is left on the rental, Example: 3 adults, 1 newborn, 1 child, 1 photographer = 6

Arrival, Check-In & Check-Out

  • You may enter The Bokeh Bodega 5 minutes early (if room is vacant) before your booked session. You must be packed up and exit the studio at the end of your rental time. This ensures that all renters will receive their full value of their rental without interruption from the next rental. Please be sure to email and notify your clients of this rule so they know when they can enter the space and when they should begin cleanup. Everyone must exit promptly. If you overstay, you will be charged accordingly.

  • Leave the space as you found it. Put all furniture back close to where you found it. Close curtains and turn off lights. Excessive messes will result in additional charges. 

  • If there are excessive messes or damages when you arrive, please let us know ASAP.

  • All trash must be thrown away at the end of the rental. 

The Rental

  • The Bokeh Bodega does have a security camera inside the space. This camera is used only for risk management, to monitor the number of people in the studio, to ensure renters leave on time, and for the security of the space. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Footage will never be shared, posted, or made public.

  • Do you need more time at the end of your rental? Please text your On-Call Host to see if you can extend your time. There is a chance that we could extend your rental if there is not another one directly after yours.

  • Cake Smash Sessions: If you are doing a cake smash session, please bring plastic coverings to protect our seamless backdrops.

  • A cleanup fee of $75 will be charged for excessive messes left behind. Excessive to be determined by the On-Call host.

  • Minors: All underage clients/models/photographers must be accompanied by their legal guardian. 

The following items are PROHIBITED:

  • glitter and confetti of any kind

  • nails in the wall(s)

  • superglue, duct tape, gorilla tape or any type of sticky adhesive that cannot be easily removed on any surface of the studio

  • paint

  • open flame

 

The following items/areas are accessible to renters:

  • photo studio

  • meeting area with table and chairs

  • any equipment/furniture in the open studio space or meeting area

  • restroom (located right across the hall)

 Damages & Liability

  • If the renter damages any furniture, walls, photo studio equipment, etc. in The Bokeh Bodega, the renter is responsible for ALL damages and will be billed with the credit card on file.

  • The Bokeh Bodega, its owners and co-workers are not liable for any damages or injuries that may incur to the renter and the renter’s participants or clients. The renter is solely responsible for the actions of him/herself and his/her participants/clients.

  • At no time are renters and their parties/clients to engage in any kind of unlawful activities while on the premises.

  • The Bokeh Bodega is not responsible or liable for any lost or stolen items. Items left behind in our studio for more than two weeks will be thrown away. The Bokeh Bodega is not responsible for any items left behind at any time.

  • Only the provided step stool is available to the renter. Renter assumes all liability in case of falling or damage caused by use of the step stool.
